I know where the key buzzer is, just having some trouble finding the headlamp one. Don't know if you rd1 guys have one or not. It should have green/black and black/white wires going to it.

did you check the rd2?

the rd1 schematics i was looking at did not have them, and there are definately two different sounds that come out of my dash. one for the headlights, one for the key. rd2 schematics showed two aswell.

found it. its a little blue relay-sized box inbetween the center crash pad support and glove box support. you might be able to unhook it without having the crash pad off, but you definately wont be able to take it off i think.

isn't there something in the driver's floorboard to prevent the dinging sounds? is that what we're talking about?

you can definately see it when you take off your dash. its righ inbetween the steering column and radio support. webtech has pictures under etm-general-component location-chime bell.

majik, you can undo the driver door switch and get rid of the noises.
