I've seen a left-hand drive Accent with a small change box below the air vent and dimmer switch.

I believe the Accent is a Canadian model, but I haven't been able to contact the car's owner nor obtain further information about it, and inquiries about it at my local dealer have proven useless. I want to purchase the panel, the change box, and any related hardware.

Can anyone help find out where I can get it?

Hmm...never seen that before. Maybe it's Canadian, could also be European or Australian.

Actually, I found both Victoria, British Columbia and a dealer willing to order and send me the parts. It's a little expensive, so I may have to decide whether it's worth the investment just to have this unique (in my part of the world) item.

At the least, it would be a factory-made addition to my interior that actually would serve a purpose.

If/when I get it, I will post some pictures of the installation.

You could look around and see if there are any junk yards up in Canada that would be willing to send you the part a little less than what the dealer charges. smile.gif
