I see different LED cluster lights on ebay all the time. Some with 6 clusters, some with 12, and some with 24. Whats the biggest and brightest I can fit in our dome lights? I bought a single LED light a few months back and it sucked ass. It barely put out any light at all, so I want something that will really light up the interior nice and bright.
DiodeDynamics has some BRIGHT freakin' LEDs. Several people have opted to get their Stage 2 because the Stage 3 is blinding. I have the stage 2, and it's damn bright.
They use panels with 6 or 12 LEDs on it.

^ I wasn't aware of smd vs. led, but per the website, only the first pic posted is LED. I have this one in my dome and it's freakin' bright! I can't imagine doubling the SMDs!

it plugs into the dome light of the Genesis Coupe. Can't imagine it would work in a Tib though.

Not doing any research, off the cuff here:
SMD = Surface Mount Device
LED = Light Emitting Diode
SMD LED = what's on those boards. Y'all may be thinking of radial leads vs. SMD/SMT parts. surface mount makes for a more compact package. You can sometimes also get higher power density (and brightness) because the board itself is a heat sink.

Generally, the higher wattage LEDs have incorporated heat sinks. The SMD notation suggests that it is not a descrete component like a SMT. SMT is Surface Mount Technology. SMT suggests that the item is simply a package which contains only an LED. SMD can be multiple LEDs or an LED with a heat sink attached. SMD generally are the better ones to go with... Not all vendors understand the products that they sell though.

What was the size again? (too lazy to go look)
