just regular spray paint. first use primer, and then the paint, and then a clear coat

i used 500 degree engine paint because I didn't want the sun to fade the dash paint or melt it. Here are my pics of my car and what you can paint if you want. any questions just email me.

Ok here is what to look for in the paint when you are painting your dash. You want to make sure there is some kind of a flexable element in the paint or your paint will chip when you remove peices of your dash or bump it hard enough you want the paint to be able to flex just like the paint on the outside of the car. Make sure the paint is somewhat heat resistant because it will be cooking in the sun and you don't want it to melt or bubble up on you because of the heat or from the sunrays I mean with windows up it probably exceeds 90 degrees plus on a good hot day inside. A good hardner so there is less of a chance of it getting scratched from just being bumped. Make sure it will bond to plastic and that it is compatible with the primer because if it's not it will chip and peel up on ya and that sucks after spending lots of time in painting it. Some kind of UV protection so it doesn't fade from the sun. And thats about it by making sure the paint matches these elements it will last and look good for a very long time if you go and pay like 99 cents a can you will have problems if you want it done right this project will be a little pricy but worth it although the cheaper stuff might hold up for a little bit it will eventually fail on you and you don't want that after all your time and effort.
