hey, ive been reading rdtiburon for about 2 months now, and i finally got my 2000 tib few days ago. so i feel i gotta show you guys as im gonna be in here pretty much 24/7. now i got my stereo and im gonna put it in shortly but first i gotta make a fiberglass box, but this is what i got now.

i love seeing everything spread out like that. looks like you will have a good time. and yeah, DIYs never hurt noone. check out ebay for really good prices on "fiberglass roll"

hehe.... im broke for bit, i will be goin with the alpine component set but the stock front speakers will do for now(that and i have a bad track record with door panels), they will be running thru my 4 channel amp. so that will help.

i prefer Rockford... which i have throughout my car.... but Alpine is also very good...

i believe with the 1 15 and 2 12's u will loose ur sound ...spl and sound quality wise...your best bet is just 2 12's or a 15 not both...but maybe u can get them tuned together rite but very hard and they still take away from each other....but besides that looks good...i like alpine stuff as well especially the R series...i myself went with audiobahn but almost got the alpine

Hey man, I have 2 of the Type R 12's, and I'm in the middle of building a fiberglass box for them. It should look pretty sweet when I'm done. Also have on of the Alpine MRV-T420 amps running the 12's and it sounds good!!! Enjoy your install.
