Half mile range on the remote (unobstructed). It would really only work when you are at home, or so damn close to your car that you don't NEED an alarm!

Yeah, but other than that it's also a pretty good alarm (or @ least look's to be). Wonder if a local shop would install it???

Well the range doesn't really have any bearing like Random said it has to be a clear shot, also a clear day beleive it or not the weather play funny tricks like that with the transmitters. As far as the install goes the features that comes with are equal to the ones in a Viper550esp and install price on that unit at Circuit City is $200 same at Best Buy and I imagine it would be the same for this model plus an extra $15 for an actuator for door locks plus labor (about $20), a motor popper for trunk release plus labor (about $20-$30). So by the time your all said and done with the cost of the alarm and the install your at about $500. It's a good deal if you can put it in yourself or someone you know will do it for free but other than that I would just buy one from a local sterio shop you would come out alot cheaper and still have the same features.

I have a pager monitoring system on my Tib. Mine is called Millennium SF, I believe it's a product of Viper alarms. The pager actually looks like a real pager and it's small. The range on it is incredible. I can monitor my car from anywhere- work, shopping, wherever. It's got the tunes, vibrate, timer/alarm, and a warning signal if I am too far out of range, which generally doesn't happen. The screen is also full color, which is cool.

OK...I can get this alarm installed for $200.00..Does this alarm include pins or another means for the windows and also flashing lights? Or will that be extra? And I want door lock/un-lock also. But I will still need a "safty-switch"......Where can I get a mecury switch to add to it? Or no remote start for me...

Now this alarm is on Ebay for 159.00...is this worth it? Someone please chk out the feature and let me know.

that alarm looks kinda cool.....let me know how everything works out.

Anyone know how hard an alarm is to install? I'd rather do it myself.

Note: For Vehicles with Positive Door Locks Please add DLR

Would this apply to us? And where would I get this item? $$$? And how hard to add-on to a system? I'm thinking of doing this alarm my-self...if I cant .... tongue.gif $200.00 @ a local shop.
