It just recently happened to my 2001 Tibby. The sound comes from front of passenger seat. And it sounds like two plastic touching each other.
Anyone had this kind of problem?

The passenger seat belt receptical rubbing/touching the center console?

The little "clips" that cover the bolts that hold in the seat rails?

Something in the glove compartment?

Try pushing the seat belt (between the seat and the floor console) forward-making sure its up against the seat. Mine rattles after a passenger has moved it after use.
Hope this is the rattle.

That would be the dash then, not the passenger seat. Check the glove compartment contents as well, and the "map" pocket in the passenger door.
