What was the clock modification
I remember a while back someone changing the color of their clock. Anyone remember this post? Or know what is needed in order to do so?
Hey, Julez,
Seriously, I just opened my dash, unscrewed the clock, popped the face off, and "painted" the inside of the plastic face with a permanent marker... since there's like no heat there, I haven't noticed any fading or anything. I just had to wipe it real lightly to even out the pigment and remove the marker streaks, but not hard enough to remove the color. Easy, and looks pretty good, I think... will try to remember to get a pic of it. Alternately, if you found something thin and translucent, you could cut it to shape and replace the layer... that would be the next step once i find a colored plastic i like.
