Vent Haloz Relay
I was just installing the Vent Haloz and was wondering if the relay is really needed. I know that the relay is basically a switch controlled by a power source. Since the LED's consume so little power, wouldn't it just be easier to connect the Haloz to a 12V power source that turns on with the illumination?
Not needed at all. But, I do suggest that you install an in-line fuse from the main power source going out to all your haloz. I had it blow on me once or twice while messing around with stuff, and if I wouldn't have had it they all would have burnt out.

the wire is already fused. Just tap power from the lighting system. Green/white and green/black.
green/white and green/black combo will allow you to dim them. Green/white and ground will just turn them on when the lights go on. There is no green/black in the door, you may want to run an extra wire.
