If any of you are electrically inclined, please tell me how to do this. I have two momentary switches that I got for a pretty good price. They are anti-tamper, nickel plated, and they look really cool. However, I want to use one of them to turn on my interior lighting. I know there is a circuit you can build that will do a flip-flop or whatever to act as an ON/OFF toggle switch. Can you point me to the right resources to figure this out?

Nah, that would be too big. I used to have a circuit diagram for one. I will have to look around for it.

 

What the hell are you trying to do with these? What I want is my interior lights to come on when I disarm my alarm and stay on for like 10 seconds or so, is this what you're trying to do, only with a switch instead??

 

No, I am trying to use them to turn on my interior lights. Basically, with a circuit that is built properly I would be able to push the button to turn on my lights, it would activate a relay that will hold power to them, then when I turn off the car the relay will lose power so it will open back up. That way when I turn on the car again, the lights won't be on until I press the button again. I just like the look of the switches better than any toggle switches out there.
