ok.....some guy at my school wants me to buy his turbo timer AFTER i told him i dont need b/c i dont got turbo, he said it will help my car out or something but he said it will drain my battery if i dont hook it up right. I know this is a really stupid question to ask, sooo should I buy it from him for 20$ or just tell him to bother someone esle?

 

Bother some one else!! The purpose of a turbo timer is to allow the turbo to cool down.If you don't have a turbo,then WTF is the need? Tell him he's an idiot and find some one that has a turbo.

 

a turbo timer keeps the engine at idle after you shut it down to allow the turbo to cool down gradually.

 

just tell him to go away oh lawd, listen to the guys when they tell ya, u dont need it unless u have a trubo setup and still u dont HAVE to get a timer for it either
