That's great to hear. I good little project, unexpensive and for the good of man kind... well good for me for when i can't find little wrenches and sockets back there.

All I used was a philips screwdriver, wire cutter/stripper, drill and soldering iron. Needle nose pliers helped a lot too.

I just noticed though, I can see the tubes in my rearview mirror... No big deal, but wasn't quite expecting that.

^^^ what is even more impressive is that strike's car has over 100k in mileage. very well maintained vehicle.

Strike, I know you said where you got them form and what size, but is there a certain part number we need to know also for this project since i am interested. i wasn't really at first, but seeing the last pic with your trunk open at night, i was like holy shit!! LoL

Lee, the cathodes I got were from this page, the 4" ones: http://www.oznium.com/cathode-kit The 12" ones would probably fit, but the 4" ones are sufficient.
