its tough, but the dash does reform to a certain point. i use a screwdriver with the part of the shaft that comes in contact with the dash wrapped in cloth. no permanent damage.

sweet. I stopped when my dash got marked in.. Now that I know it's got a magical reform function, i'll go ballistic on the sucker..
Seriously.. I can't get those covers off either... maybe there's a way to use another fulcrum other then the crashpad?

notice how i said "to a point". dont go ballistic on it. the crash pad is made of foam material, but its not like styrofoam. you push it too far and it probably will stay like that. then again, i think to go too far you would have to stretch the vinyl cover enough for it to rip.
