Without removing the dash and clock? Like is there some kind of transparent piece of film I could get to place on the front of the clock? I know I would have to trim it perfectly to fit on the front but thats no problem. My only issues is finding something that looks good (want to change the color to red) and making it stay in place so it doesnt fall forward. Any advice?

the stock clock is cream colored. it's got a brown piece of plastic giving it that color.
you have to remove the dash. replace the plastic with transparent red. it will take some improvisation. DTN did mine for me. you can also try searching ebay for a translucent plastic material to cut out. DTN used flashlight lens.
something like this, but i'm not sure if this is exactly it: http://cgi.ebay.com/Maglite-108-080-...item588e19a8e2
it's fairly easy installation.
