Default Sub pop

Lately when I turn my car off and Ive been driving around for awhile bumping the system, I get a loud pop from the sub. Almost like the last bit of sound coming out of the amp to the sub after the car is turned off. How do I fix it and would could be causing it? Bad amp? Bad wiring? Bad sub?

check your wires, loose ground maybe. or amp on the way out. check all grounds for battery and amp.

it is a common problem so there should be many products or ideas it is a miss-timing between the radio turning on and the turn on wire to the amp, it could all so be a weak radio ground.

i got rid of mine using a toggle switch before the radio instead of using the ignition key on for the radio and now i can listen without using keys.

Quick google search. not harmful, but can be fixed by adding a switch or relay.

Throw a Capacitor in before your amp and double check your wiring. You could also have bad RCA cables. What happens when you leave the stereo on and pull the remote wire from the amp? Do you still hear a pop when the amp powers down? If you don't then it could be the deck. Try disconnecting the RCA's then powering the stereo up and pull the remote wire again. If you still hear a pop with the RCA's disconnected then you probably have a bad amp.
