Hey guys im selling my stock double din radio for a rd2 on ebay and a guy asked me a ? that im not sure the answer to.

Anybody know if the stock double din radio for a rd2 will fit a rd1???
Are they the same? It's a 97 Tib that hes tryin to fit it in.

tried a search but it pulls up random shiz.

 

i dont even think that rd1 tiburons came with the double din opening.

could be wrong though.

 

some did.. mostly the later years.. 98 and 99.I have a double din console for an RD1 in my garage

 

Yeah, ask the guy if his factory stereo had/has both the cd and cassette.If not, then that was a single din.If he wants your's, he'll have to get a double din trim piece.
