Ok so I am on my second stock radio. I bought one on Ebay and it worked for 3 months but this weekend it ate my cd and now it doesn't light up and won't give my cd back.

I have my 1st one still as well, it would give me error #6 when I put a cd in.

I think I should just get a different cd player from Best Buy...

Any idea's on how to get my CD out of the player? Its Jay Z's first cd slightly rare!!!

I am mad at the Hyundai dealer they aren't ery helpful on these issues short of charging me 70 dollars to put in a radio that I purchase.

Any imput would be nice....

well, if you dont care at all about the cd player, id take a dremel and some high speed diamond cutting bits to the thing. thats always fun.

this might be of some help.

Check the fuse. There is also a Emergency eject hole I think.

I have a stock radio that I guarantee works. As long as you're talking about the one for the 00-01 model. If you want to try another. They say the third one is the charm...

Reasonable Doubt? I'm not a huge Jay-Z fan but isn't that his first?

Um... I work at a Best Buy, we sell crappy stuff. You're much better off at a Car Toys or Jerkitt Silly (Circuit City) buying an Alpine. The best we have a Best Buy is some of the Pioneers and one or two of the Kenwoods.

like REDZ said...check the fuseS. there's 2 for audio. my stereo went blank on me one day, checked the fuse under the dash and it was fine. i got all confused, and i decieded to just randomly check onder the hood and there is another audio fuse in that panel, and thats the one that was blown. its just a 10A fuse. check up on that before taking a dremel to it tongue.gif

mine went blank once so i looked it up in the stereo manual and there is a pinhole reset button in the back of the faceplate. U will need a paperclip to insert in this hole for 5-10 seconds. This will reset the unit, its a PITA cause u loose all your prests. (this is if u have the Clarion anyways)

I bought a different one.
:-)
Best BuI am not to particular and the funny thing is that when he unplugged and replugged the stock thing in it worked for a few minutes and stopped again so I am just going to toss it.

Now if I could just find some tires for cheap....
