how do i stop the hatch from ratllin' due to bass ?

Line your trunk and hatch with Dynamat, or similar product. That will help get rid of the rattling, and road noise.

Low pass your sub(s) at a lower frequency and a tighter slope.That'll get rid of alot.Also, make sure you don't have any loose screws,etc.

just to be clear, you can never get rid of it all if your running a lot of power to it. i went through a lot of work to derattle mine, and yeah. still rattled a little. btw if you have a 2000 or 2001, the rear tail light in the window, mine was hitting the glass, so we lined it with some cloth and it works very well and you couldnt even notice. dunno if all the tibs have that problem though

what i did was i removed the lid and then plastic covering taped off the window and sprayed car undercoating on it that stop my raddle and cut down on the noise in the car "muffler noise" and raddleing noise. i could work for u. check you fin bolts also
