If you look closely, you'll see the Pioneer leaves about 1/5th of an inch gap on either side. Is there any way to make it look like a clean fit? Or is this what I have to settle for?

Thanks

Does your HU surround fit? I know mine didnt when I installed my HU but I don't have any gaps like that so thats why it maybe didnt fit.

If it doesn't fit at the top you can cut the HU surround so you only use the sides.

for the easy/cheap fix, take some of the fuzzy side of velcro, and just stick it to the sides of the radio, it will blend pretty good and most people won't even notice.

I'm not talking about the stock radio surround. I'm talking about the HU surround.. It would look like this.

_______
|_______| and clips on ur HU to cover the sides and top.
