Some Tibs/Coupes are sold without airbags in some parts of the world so swapping the steering wheel over is no big deal but every US Tib comes fitted with an airbag so I'd leave it well alone if I were you.

If my Tibby didn't come with airbag I would chang my steering wheel, but I have airbag.

It's not hard to change it, you will need steering wheel and a hub for the wheel.

If you have airbag - your airbag light will always be on.

It's illegal to tamper with airbags, so unless you've had an accident and you've used your airbags, you can't legally replace your wheel in the US.

There's a few options out there. Personally if you are going to go through changing your steering wheel you're going to need a new steering wheel hub, you might as well get one of those locking ones that allows for the quick 1/4 Turn removal of the steering wheel. You'd be surprised how sfae you feel walking down the mall with your steering wheel in hand... lmao.gif

Makes life easier when working on/under the dash too. wink1.gif

If your wanting to know how to install one you its super simple.
Broke down steps

#1 unhook the hot cable from the battery. (this keeps the airbag from going off while your working on it.)
#2 there are two plastic tabs that are on the side of your steering wheel. pop those out and there should be to tourqes bits in there. Take those out
#3 Get a steering wheel puller and remove the steeering wheel.
#4 Attach matching hub to car and steering wheel.
#5 Drive off.
