I am looking at getting a new steering wheel and have heard and seen on WebTech that a puller is needed to remove it. Does anyone know where besides Hyundai to get one that will work on our cars?

autozone. any car part store will work though.

think it was 14 bucks, maybe 8. those two numbers are sticking in my mind.

be careful to not strip the threads in the wheel for the holder bolts. its real soft metal. i thought i stripped it after the first pull, but for some reason, it still had enough grip in the threads to work 20 more times. lol.gif

Geeze if it is that delicate I may just pay a few dollars and get someone to install it. Cant imagine it would be more than $50-$75 to get it installed right?

The pullers are dirt cheap, it will only take about 30 mins at the most, just make sure you buy yourself a hub as well. Just becareful as the bloody things on really tight

^^^ I've never seen one of the stock wrapped wheels. Ever since I pulled my dash off the first time my airbag light has been on. I have since just pulled out the bulb. Knowing that it wouldn't work anyway I may as well make it look nice!
