My stock wheel has been looking ragged recently. My rings had cut into the leather in a couple of places and it was getting hard to get clean... so I decided to jump ship on the airbags and get a good steering wheel.

I chose the Momo Millenium Sport witn the red stitching. As my car is going to be a dark gray with a red and black interior.. it seemed to fit in best. Ordinarily they go for $300 here in the states.. I found an Australian seller on ebay and got it for 300 Austrailian plue $30US shipping.. can't beat that.

Now I just need the adaptor to make it's way to me (bought from a different seller) All my auctions seem to be shipping slow.

That is a nice looking wheel. I know what you mean about the rings, mine has cut into my wheel in a few places.

I think it's the best looking Momo Steering Wheel, I would put in my car if it wasn't so pricey.
Good choice Mad, it will compliment your project very well.

Not sure I follow your question Dmitry.. but it has slots in the spokes and beneath the polished and leather horn button it has a full compliment of mounting holes to mate up to any momo hub.

I gotta get one of these for my fiat.. but in blue. The beauty of my spider, it came stock from the factory with the steering wheel hub set up to accept a momo wheel

Screw it. They never check over here. If it's not flashy, then they probably will never notice.
I'm gonna go for it once I get the cash. fing02.gif

bags are coming out.. hate the things. I have been in one accident with them and I got hurt BECAUSE of the bags. Got my arm caught between me and bag.. the chemicals they use to fire it off are hell on bare skin. Chemical burns are no fun.

I am thinking there might be a way to fool the computer into thinking I still have bags.. and if I have to, I can throw the stock wheel on once a year. In reality though, the Millenium and the Millenium sport are modeled after the wheel in the Mitsu evo8/9 so I doubt most people would notice.

Ummm...it's illegal to remove the airbags from a vehicle that comes equipped with a driver-side airbag though. If the po-po pulls you over and notices that you have an aftermarket steering wheel with no air bag, then you may be in trouble.

If it were on the Fiats/Lancia...then it's all good...but on the Tib, then that's probably not a good idea. You seem people doing aftermarket steering wheels on airbag equipped cars for shows...but that's a big no-no for daily driving though.

me personally i wouldnt care

most of us have so much illegal stuff on our cars its not even funny

me for example

ive never had my car emissions tested...
i have no dash and no airbags

there are some with loud exhausts, no cats, unexceptible intake designes stuff like that

besides all you would get is a fix it ticket and even with a real ticket take it to court and say you took it off
and take a pic with the stocker
