I ordered the CF knob, but instead was shipped the Type R knob. It's not too bad. I like the grip and everything, except I have the same problem with it as I do with every other knob on the market. It's held on with little allen screws, and after awhile, they don't hold the knob in place perfectly. They get loose and the knob wobbles a little when shifting. It pisses me off sooo much. It's not because of SR's knob. It's because of almost all knobs that are attached with those little allen screws. I wish they would come out with more knobs that were a direct screw on though. sad.gif Either that, or new type of screws that hold knobs better without stripping and loosening.

I've got it and I'm very happy with it.
After about 5000 miles, the CF seperated from the alumnimum base. Some quick glue solved that problem, and it hasn't come off or budged since.
Its a hell of a lot lighter than you expect. it weighs less than a light bulb.
It swallows about 2-3" of shifer shaft. Not quite as much as the stock shifter does, but not enough to leave the ugly shaft exposed...
