Actually, it's a high frequency peizo electric pulse emitter. lol. yes tweeter. Pop the cover with a screw driver or something. the pieces may break so you may have to buy a new cover.

no, but the picture was pointing to the tweeter's grill, there's a tweeter under that.

^^ I believe it's because the plastic cone on the tweeter is so small and fragile. They make it small because the peizoelectronics can only move so big of an area.

 

it may or may not have a tweeter under there. ive noticed in the 4 tibs ive now had that they dont all come with tweeters. im guessing only the ones with the upgraded sound, with the cd player had tweeters

 

Mine came with the cd player and tape deck and on the vin number, its marked as the "super deluxe" interior so i would assume that a tweeter is there. are all tweeters a standard size? id like to replace it when i upgrade my sound system.

 

for the most part yes but with a lot of aftermarket tweeters you need a filter such as a crossover so only the hign frequency sound goes through it. our stock tweeters have that built right in i believe
