As some of you know i've been working on a system that will flash lights to the bass of your music. I already did one for myself, but i've been making the system smaller, more versitile, and bringing down the cost of production. It works great for LEDs, but it also has hookups to handle other 12V applications. (incandescant lighting, neon tubes, fans for the sterio system).

It will be about 2 weeks before they're ready depending on interest. Looking like about $35 shipped. Post a message if you're interested.

Base model handles up to 25 LEDs
High Power will be available later

there will be 1 LED in the case. The external hookups can be used however the user wishes. here is an example from Mr_Hyde_NT's DIY on LEDs and Speakers.

I have 6 total LEDs which flash with my bass in my speakers.

I like... I like a lot... The concept and price work for me 85%. Money's kind of tight and the specs make no sence to me.

1) Is this a system to react to bass?
2) Meaning no speakers/subs included?
3) Microphone? Huh? What can I say; I'm a dummie with most things.

All in all, as soon as I understang what your selling, I just might be buying. Definate props, mang!

wow, finally some interest. I guess i'd better start getting this project together. Yes, the system is designed to react to bass but can be tweaked to react to any frequency from 40hz higher.

simply put, you put the box near your stock/aftermarket speaker or hidden in a speaker well area, run a wire to 12V and chassy ground, place your LEDs and run 2 wires to them. the system will cause LEDs to flash to certain bass levels and a certain loudness levels.

I have completed another system which hooks up to a sterio amplifier and lights up at a certain adjustable level of loudness, no microphone, directly controlled by your car sterio amplifier for $17 + S&H includes 1 in-box LED and 10 seperate LEDS. this system hooks into the + and - speaker connections and then to the LEDs

feel free to ask any other questions about this.

I think I get it... I think... Basically: take this box of yours, put it near a speaker, position the LED's in the desired possition(s), turn on the stereo and up yhe bass, and you've got flashing lights. Right?

So it's one system/box per speaker? Therefore >>> $35 a sys = $35 a speaker = $35(4 speakers) = $140 for the whole car (stock)???

Wow, I really like this. What a great idea. I'd be one to just want it not to flash.. Idk. Seems to me like it might get kind of annoying. Would be nice at shows, would be cool to have like a toggle switch to trigger the flashing part of it.

NO, 1 box, 1 car, many LEDs , $35, for a control box which will power up to 25 LEDs. it's a standalone LED amplifier.

Same with the Version 1 model. up to 25 LEDs from your car sterio amplifier. It does not impact sound quality. depending on hookup of LEDs they can fade on/off, or be either on or off.

There is a toggle push button on the system. The whole system is either flashing or off as of right now. Version 2 will have on/off/flash. The system is just right with 3 LEDs in rear speaker grills. More then 3 LEDs per speaker grill could get distracting. 3 puts it as a flashing even glow. But i am trying to squeeze in up to 100 LEDs out of the design.

So one box=one car=25 LED's?? That is what I'm talking about!! YA!! I'll chek my account status and let you know if I'm going to be 100% in or not. Might you provide install dirrections? I like to have something to fallow when I do anything. Even the stuff I know.

Mod #3 for project "Dragoon (cobalt)" (I'm still working with the title)

#1 > (temp) Black/silver dragon seat covers and steering wheel cover

#2 > blue windsheild washer blades/blue valve stem caps

so which one would you want?

V1 completed = powered by aftermarket sterio amp, level trigger - $17 + S&H

V2 work in progress = stand alone led amp, frequency & level trigger - $35 +S&H
