Default Re: A lil hint for winter driving

I jsut got an Alpine CDA-9827 head unit. I am looking to also buy Alpine speakers. I was just wondering if the following speakers would be a good choice for my system. The Alpine SPS-690A 6"x9" and the Alpine 'SPS-170A' Two-way 6-1/2". If you guys have any other better suggestions that you know would sound good and work with my head unit I would like to hear them.

Thanks.

I don't think they make an Alpine that size....but like i said in my previosu posts if you guys know some good speakers (resonable price) let me know, they don't have to be Alpines, I jsut heard its good to stick with the same brand.

Ollis, you may want to check the specs for those 6-1/2's.....alot of manufacturers make 6-1/2's that actually also have the mounting holes for 6-3/4" speakers on them.

Some 6-1/2's will fit with no modifications, some won't.

Default Re: F/S OZ-Flow BBTBs and Phenolic spacers

i just installed alpine ALL over my car. i've got the Alpine S series component set in the front (6-1/2's) and 6x9's in the back. the six and a halves in the front fit with some finesse.... but they do fit. I LOVE THEM. i've got the tweets mounted up on the pillars.... its all awesome, i highly recommend them.

I'd go with infinity. But you can also looks at Rockford. They have great quality sounding speakers. They are a little pricey if go top of the line. I would recommed mb quart but they are power hungry. What type of music do you listen to anyhow?

Default speakers

i have also been kicking around which set im ganna get. Cant decide between Polk's MOMO series or the Infinity Kappa Series. The worst part about it is in my area no one has the Polk MOMO series but i have heard great things about them. Cant decide. But i know Infinity is a great speaker. Had them in my last vehicle and sounded great.
