Default Sound difference between gold and silver battery posts

Can you tell a difference in sound quality if you switch from silver/chrome battery posts to gold? People have said that gold is alot better but how much?

The people who claim there is an audible difference between plain lead battery posts and gold plated battery posts, either has a set of gold posts to sell you, or is defending his own ego after buying them, or is sorely misinformed.

There will be 0.000000000% difference in sound quality between gold plated, solid gold, solid lead, brass, steel, or whatever material you might choose for battery terminals in a car stereo. Especially when you are driving.

Now LOOKS, that is a different story!

You won't notice any sound difference. The most important thing is to keep them clean and maximize contact surface. Corrosion is bad and the material should be "soft". That is why lead or gold is used. I would not go for gold.
