So ive got the interior scheme all planned out. So far Ive painted the dash silver. Im still debating whether or not Im gonna paint the crash pad and door panels gunmetal. Im gonna wait until after the car is painted. But I also painted the gauge bezel gunmetal and the gauge pillar pod gunmetal. Ive got some silver/red BROS gauges going in along with the Turbulence A/C knobs and red clock (which I did myself!) I also attempted to change the recirc switch to red LED, but I dont think its gonna work. I took out the old LEDs and soldered in red ones but I think the one is too big. I dont know, we'll see when I hook it all up. I wanna switch all the lighting to red LED but Im hesitant because Im not fully sure how to. Anyway, here's a couple pics, tell me what you think. Also if anyone has any opinions on whether should paint the crashpad and door panels gunmetal (the curvy parts on the door will be silver).

My future plans include a sparco steering wheel, seats, momo shift knob and pedals. Its gonna look pimp. Im going forn a really high end, show quality look, with not that much ICE. Maybe a flip screen AVIC N1 and some nice speakers, nothing too crazy. Im going for more of a race look than anything.

edit: if the pictures are too big/blurry, let me know and I'll resize them.

Well, they dont. First of all Im gonna have to grind down the "poles" that they sit on, you know the things that turn, because they stick out too far. the diameter of the left most knob is slightly smaller than the hole of the panel, so Im gonna stick a rubber ring in the to fill it out. And the line where the light shines through to show you where you have the knob set, well they dont line up perfectly. Two of them are offset a little bit, but you cant still tell where it is positioned. The left most one is completely backwards though. It doesnt really bother me, because I love how they look. They really add to the dash and tie the shift knob and ebrake in.

LOL, TC!
That is the same color that I am in the process of repainting to, and I screwed up my auto surround. smile.gif

Looks nice!!!

I wouldn't paint crash panel, but I would paint door panels. It would look more solid.

Looks good Liz! I find it funny that nobody has chimed in on the heater knobs yet. I tried that mod two years ago with no success and everyone kept telling AFTER I found out it wouldn't work without a lot of effort that it was a simple swap.
