What do you guys know or heard about the snap-off steering wheel kit. Some information can be found at:

http://www.ppsonline.net/snapoff.htm

Seemed like an interesting item and was wondering if anyone had used or heard of one or where to buy.

Thats basically what they use in pretty much all racing circuits, right? I don't see any reason not to trust it as long as the brand is of good quality. Easy anti-theft system too!

only reason to use them in racing.. for access to the seat when getting in or out. The anti-theft part is fine, but where are you going to put the wheel when you remove it?

I only only trust the ones that are TUV approved.

The one in the link is TUV approved for daily street driven vehicles. It seels pretty interesting but I dont know about the $180 price tag that is a little steep. I may get one I cant decide.

It would be a good form of antitheft.
