Yeah, the X5 is pretty sweet too, and as far as the air bag issue, not a problem for me. My car is salvage titled. The airbags where blown so therefore I don't have to replace them.

I guess you're right about the grip. I just liked the carbon fiber look. I can always get the plain black one.

Those lights would get annoying. You look at the MOMO Trek wheel? It is a D wheel also and runs about $175

Actually, I'll probably just get the one blue dragon found... leather grip and only a little over $100. That is if Hobgoblin will get it for me. tongue.gif

You DO know that those aftermarket steering wheels are illegal to have on in the states, b/c all newer than '90-something need to have the air-bag assembly in the steering wheel. It'd be a different story if this was for a custom car, but I highly doubt that. wink.gif

The only reason you see these on cars in car shows are...well...exactly. SHOW.

really? you sure about that? I've seen several cars with them on. I was just wondering because I had thought about switching mine out as well because my air bag isn't hooked up anyways. (don't wanna pay the 1k to get them set it back up).

And I really don't care about airbags either because next time I make it home to Maryville, TN I am going to register my car their because TN does not have inspections, at least they didn't the last time I checked. So no inspection, no worries about Illegality.smile.gif

Man Blu, going all out! Didn't expect anyone to e-mail them. Well, If hobgoblin can help me out I'll be all set. Otherwise I may just have to get something like that MOMO Trek. I just dont like the yellow MOMO across the top.
