Do you see the extra silver pieces around the heat knobs ect.. is that only in rd2? Or are those able to be purchased, or are they painted?

I'm not exactly sure which 'extra' silver pieces you're referring too. All that's there is the heater knobs, the clock, the switches (cruise, defrost, etc), the vent surround and the 3/4" by about 5" piece of silver just above the radio, all of which is stock on an RD2.

That's the stock RD2 colors. I only painted the main dashboard. I removed everything else. For reference, hyundai uses Duplicolor Super Silver to get that color.

You can buy the RD2 gear shapped knobs from K-Spec.com They come silver as well. You have to modify them to get them to fit on the RD1. There's a DIY on that in our section.

yep painted. anything that is aluminum like that you would have to make by yourself, and much luck with it not looking like crap.
