Default Short Shifter & Knobs

Hey i'm seriously thinking about dropping in a short shifter and theres a few things i'm wondering... Which is the best, any reviews? (the SR one?) Also anyone have more pictures of the Aluminum Type-R Gear Knob that SR has, like a top down view? or should i just go for a standard ball or what? Thanks in advance guys (btw it's a '98 FX [guessing gen 1] compleately stock except for the 120db truck horns i wried in under the hood) smile.gif

B&M shifter seems to be better. You don't have to cut out the base plate to install the shifter. I'll be getting mine next week. Looking forward to installing it. The guy who I spoke with from RC Performance said that the throw rate is really short. Will keep you posted later.

Cut off your, and save the piece... Weld it back on if you sell the car. After market knob don`t need tread to fit.

Not to be an ass, but cutting your shifter shaft doesen't alter the throw at all, just the length. I plan to invest in a B&M shorty soon. Believe me, if I could reduce my shifter throw with a hacksaw I would have. tongue.gif

The carbon knob is really nice from SR. Please let me know your opinions on the SR shorty and the B&M shorty and the website for B&M.

Thanks
