I want to get a custom boot made for my shifter, but I also want to get the ring around the shifter done custom as well with brushed aluminum, does anybody know where I could go to get this done?

 

a member here by the name REDZMAN has a wife that makes custom shift boots out of leather material in an assortment of colors. Use our search function on this website and you will find what I am talking about plus a bunch of other stuff you never knew was known about tiburons. smile.gif

Although, you may have to cut the boots down to fit your shifter, they turn out somewhat nicely. She makes other stuff too.

And a custom aluminum metal ring? Just polish the one that is on your shifter surround. I think it comes OFF, which should make it easy to polish in those cracks. Some fine grit sandpaper and some silver paint wouldn't look bad either. shrug.gif

As for the ring, I'mt rying to find someone that can make us a CnC'd aluminum ring for the shifter surround.

 

It would be nice to have an aluminum one since the shitty plastic cracked on mine. mad.gif

 

I have a custom aluminum one that a friend of mine made like 2 years ago. I will have to research to find his number again and maybe I can see if he can make some more. I will get a pic of it probably on sunday for you since I am going out of town this week so keeep checking in. If not posted by sunday night someone PM me to remind me to post a pic.


I will lock into trying to find his number when I get back after the weekend.
