The boot is one of REDZMAN's custom shifter boots. The shift knob is a knob i bought at autozone which origonally ran on batteries. I gutted the 3 battery powered LEDs and added 6 LEDs that go on with the dashboard illumination. I then painted the retainer on top to match the dash.
Here's a little trick I've used to convert a universal shift knob with the 4-5 hex screws to one which actually screws onto the shifter like the OEM knob...Take a nut with the proper thread size for your shifter and is small enough to slide inside of the shift knob. Depending on the size of the nut and the opening of the shift knob you may have to grind the hex corners of the nut down a little to get it to fit inside the knob. Once you have it the right size, just slide it inside the shift knob and use the hex screws to firmly hold it in place...and viola, you now have a shift knob which will screw onto your shifter just like the OEM one. I used this method with my previous cheapy shift knob and now am using it with my MOMO Sphere knob...works great and makes it very easy to take it off to start tearing into the dash or work on anything I'd need to remove it for...its also solid as a rock when I tighten it on.
Sometime it can be difficult to get this nut level up inside of the shift knob, to address this I have just stacked this nut on some smaller washers or nuts to get it level and at the right height. Also, if there's a certain way you want the knob to line up, you may have to play a little with the positioning of the nut inside the shift knob...I had to do a little of this to get the MOMO Italy logo on mine to be straight at the bottom.

^^You still can use it, that is if the wires aren't very thick. The nut is a hex and the shifter open is round...between each flat side of the nut and the rounded side of the shifter opening there's a little space...wires should pass through that opening...if they don't notch it a little bit so they do.

it's a good idea for people who are going to be taking it apart a lot. i'm not hehe but i haven't had problems with my screws besides the fact that they bend the shifter screw.
