I bought my RSA and my boots from redz friday and am lookin for a new shift knob. i have one of those 6 LED(blue) ones lol. Just want to see what people think looks good or what they have. Id prefer it not to have a gap between the boots and knob.

i've had bad experience w/ universal shift knobs. i bought one, put it on etc. and i pull onto route 1, shift to 2nd and next thing I knew, the shift knob is in my hand. i go back to autozone exchange for another one, samething, well i got it up to 5th gear until it popped, but still, after the expierence, i only use threaded knobs, probably why im stuck w/ the OEM cool.gif

I am currently running one i bought at autozone. It's 2lbs. It has 6 hex screws, matches the stock interior well, and has a button which you push to activate different lighting scheems with LEDs inside the knob... or you can leave it off. The hex screws go well with the RD2 surround.

Stock one works fine for me. Nice weight to it IMO.

Viper, stop squeezing your knob so hard and it won't pop off. I'm one of those guys who's hands always on the shifter no matter what. Stock round knob used to put my hand to sleep. So I went with what felt comfortable in my hand.Which was a universal ractive shift knob. It's not padded, but fits the shape of my hand well.

Kinda looks like this. Sorry too lazy to go out to my car to take pics of the actual one.
Bottom line= go with what feels right regardless of what it looks like or costs.

The one i have weighs the same as stock. But wait until your paint starts rubbing off the shift knob. Mine did, so i replaced it.
