Default Seats..

I will be getting Sparco seats for my Eclipse/Tib, which ever i choose to get. But thats another issue, and my real ? is when you have the seats in where do the harnesses hook up to? will i have to weld together a makeshift roll cage in the back so that the harnesses have something to hook onto... basically if i have to design a roll cage, it wont be a roll cage it will be a bar piping welded together across the back of the heds of the seats, ran down to the floor on each side and then a pipes on each side that go directly into the back(seating area around the sides of the car somehow..)
Any info is welcome.. This isn't a racing car but going to have racing parts(seats), more for looks...

Well without a doubt the choice should be clear the TIBURON is the choice on that confusion part. Wait for the 2002 totally redesigned and tight as hell. And about the harness depends on the seat type I guess

they all basically have the same harness setup over the shoulder style and over the lap... but i just need to know how to connect the ends of the harnesses when you put them through their respective slots on the shoulder height of the seat..

you can use the harness and the belts on the stock seats. You just have to bolt them down to the floor with bolts.

Just keep in mind, The Mounting system must match the harness you buy. Some are only made to be attached to a roll cage, some are made to be mounted in otherwise stock cars.

There are also "universal" harnesses that are made to order ($$$).

i wouldnt think that the sparco main H style 75' harness 3'(wide) would be "universal"? I am guessing some how it attaches to the roll cage..

A friend of mine has a set of sparco seats in his Saturn. The harness actually hooks up to the middle back seat harness bolts.... In other words, the two front seat harnesses are both bolted to the middle back seat harness and then run through the center and into the backs of the seats.

It's actually not that bad, you just can't have 3 peeps in the back...

can you send me a pic of it? to post one would be better.. I will prolly go with the roll cage idea, as in welding isn't tough to do, and it looks a bit more "complete" i think.. but i would love to see a pic of his setup, or anyones sparco setup/any other seat setups..
