Are most 4 point harnesses with racing seats street legal or can you get in trouble with cops?

 

As long as there's a shoulder restraint and lap restraint I don't see why it would be an issue.

 

I don't know about your State, but both the States where I have lived have had BOTH online access to the vehicle codes and a place where you could call and ask questions. Don't as Anonymous, ask the people who have the guns/power where you live.
