Scratched Interior! Help!
I was cleaning out the interior of my tib, and I looked in the back and saw a big scratch on the side interior near the rear speaker! I was so upset, it is huge and I have no idea who or what did it. It was either one of my "friends" or possibly my huge hockey bag I have to squeeze in there every once in a while. But anyways, does anyone know what I can do to kind of "hide" the scratch or buff it out or anything like that? It's a deep scratch and I need to get rid of it!!

I don't think that there is anything you can do to remove that deep scratch... sad.gif
Only thing I can think of rightn now is to paint that scratch to at least make it black... but it won't look good. The perfect way to remove it is... to replace the whole thing. But that will cost too much money.

Before you do anything can you take a pic of it for me to see?? I was taught a little trick a long time ago that might work. When I scratch a plastic peice I use a torch like the $20 one you can get from Wal-Mart. But like I said I would like to see before I suggest you try it.
All you have to do is make quick little passes over the scratch and it will melt the high ridges down back into the scratch. The scratch will still be there but WAY harder to see.

Yeah, I will try to get a picture of it up as soon as I can. Besides, I have been meaning to get some photos of my car anyways, I can post them up sometime too. But how much of a risk is this for a first timer like me? If there is a good chance to totally ruin the interior, then I would rather leave the scratch. Thanks!
