Default Rust on Seat Brackets

Does anyone else have rust on the brackets that hold their seat to the frame. I noticed yesterday that the bracket that holds my seat to the frame is rusting some sad.gif Should be a pretty easy fix. Remove seats, remove brackets, sand down rust, spray with black krylon rattle can stuff, reinstall.

My seat brackets had a little rust on them too. Just do what you said. Take them out and sand them as best as possible. Then just rattle can them. You'll be fine.

If you notice that this happens again you may want to pull your carpet out to check to see if you don't have a body plug that has fallen out. carpet will literally keep water in for days if it get soaked.
