Default Running wires into the doors?

Has anyone run speaker wires(or any other wires) into their doors from the car. If so, how??

I went to run wires into the doors today & noticed that its not a hole for the gromet, its a clip, that i cant get out. Also, now that i look at it there doesnt seem to be enough room to run it anyway.

Any suggestions???

If you are trying to run speaker wires into the doors, don't bother! It's easier just to splice the speaker wires from your amp into the factory speaker wires. It works fine, there's no trouble at all by doing this.Unless, you are planning to run 200W or more to the door speakers. Then,I would say not to use the factory wire.

If you are trying to mount tweeters in the doors, then I don't know what to tell you.Other then in my opinion there are better places for tweeters then the doors.

I was trying to get wires into the doors so that i can put the crossovers to my components in my amp rack. I cant do that now, but i did get 12 awg into the door, not too hard.

Im currently in the process of sound deadening, after that its running wires, building my sub box & amp rack, & carpeting/adding plexiglass.

Ill post pics when im done. shoud look damn good considering there is no glassing involved

I dont know what your door is like but on mine, I had a circular plug that twisted together. If that is what you have its a pain but, very possible. You will have to remove both sides of the plug and if I remember correctly you'll want to drill at the top of the plug to run your wires.
I ran 16ga.(very thick insulated)wire into my doors for my speakers and 18ga. for my door actuator so, yes it is possible
