Default Right Hand Drive Conversion....

Okay. I doubt this has ever come up, but I'm sitting here watching Fast & Furious again, and I'm seeing the right hand drive Skyline in the movie. So my question is, what would one have to do in order to convert their left hand drive car, to a European version right hand drive? I know you have to do the basics like getting a new dash board, and changing the steering column and all that, but what about engine stuff. Is it even possible since there's a difference between the MAP's, and MAF's?

I for one would probably never do it myself, but it's good info to know just in case someone ever has any questions about it.

there was a guy on the mothers import show, who made a rhd civic using JDM parts, u need to flip ur fire wall and weld all new spot welds on it, or buy a RHD one, u will also need a new steering rack, and probably new akels, u will also have a major pita if ur car is manual learing how to shift like that, and dont forget toll/drivethru booths, than all the interor pieces, and a new wiring harnass, unless u wanna just try and lengthen all the original connectors, hmm it wouldnt be worth your time, just sell ur current car and import one from europe, swap out the windsheild, and other misc **** to make it street legal, and ur all set

RHD is totally legal in the US just kind of frowned upon, u can buy a RHD subaru legacy from subaru if u want, but u have to show a need for it, u cant just say i want one because i want to be differant ie a need is ur a mail carrier in a rural part of town, or u deliver news papers etc, not because u want to piss off the toll collectors
