Hey guys. I was installing my Oz short shifter yesturday and tried to remove the center consol. I unscrewed the 4 screws that were there and removed the car stereo plastic surround. I tried to remove the center consol but it wouldn't budge. Is there something that I forgot to remove or is there a screw someplace. I opened the consol compartment and found no screws or bolts there.

Yeah, I think there are 6 screws on it. 2 up front, 2 by the front of the seats, and 2 by the rear of the seats.

Wife has the car so I can't check.

That's right REDZ.Basically, there are 4 front and 2 rear. Then you have to crank the e-brake up as much as possible. The console should slide right out/off.

Just be careful I think some of them are hidden by the seats at certain points.

I saw those screws earlier today. I'm probably gonna use one of my stubby screwdrivers to remove them. Thanks

You know.......

Its NOT absolutely necessary to remove the center console to install a SS.

I installed both my B & M and my RSide with mine still in place.
