I'm looking to purchase a amplifier for my JL Audio 12' w0v2 (single 4 ohm coil) subwoofer. I've eyeing these two amps but I want a second opinion before I make a purchase. I'm looking to spend no more than $150 on an amp. You guys have any other suggestions other than these two?

Those are both weak as hell to push a 12, and the Alpine is going for over $200.

175w for a single 12" that has a 300w max isn't that bad. I think i would've gone with a 10" model though.

anywho, if thats ALL i had to spend, id get something like a older xtant or phoenix gold
