Default Random, Boogy help with my new custom headlights.headlights

I went to the junk yard about 4 mnths ago and got headlights from a 98 wreck. I disasembled them and put another cat eye in place of the high beem bulb kinda like a 3000gt I fiberglassed them myself into place, sanded them flat then got them dipped in chrome they look sweet and are completely functional and point in the correct direction but the one problem I have is one I didn't even think about is the peice of plastic that goes accross is not completly clear. So that is what I'm looking for I need the protective sheild (I guess you would call) put molded completly clear just like a clear GTS headlight cover (and no the covers don't work, tried already) Thanks in advance.

So you just need the outtermost clear plastic cover that does over the headlight? Did you keep the stock profile of the headlights? If so, why can't you re-use the stock plastic cover you removed?

Maybe I just need to see a picture or photo.

I could use the peice that I have without a problem but now I have side by side cats eye headlights one for low and the other for high the problem is for me cosmetic because the original peice has the slits in the plastic to project the beam for the highs it kills the look I'm after I want to be able to see both lights in the housing the original covers the second.

I still don't understand. The stock lights are side by side, and the cover I'm refering to is clear.

Can you e-mail me a photo to post up?

I can't put a picture up I don't have a scanner but I will try to explain better. What I did is got a stock set of headlights from the bone yard now including the ones on my Tib I have four. I then removed the cats eye peice from the two from the junk yard and threw the rest of the housing away. I then fiber glassed them into the original housing in the space for the high beam bulb so now I have side by side cats eye lenses in one housing 1 acts as the low beam (like factory) and the other is now my high beam beam. Look at the headlight for a Toyota Supra same concept. And like the Supra now I need a completly clear peice of plastic where the stock ones are clear only over the low beam and the plastic is manipulated to produce a spectrum of bright light for the high beam. Hopefully I did a better explanation of what I did. Hopefully in my pocket alllows I will have a scanner in 2 weeks.

Okay..the cats eye thing threw me. What else is throwing me is that the cover over my stock headlights is 100% clear. No pattern what so ever. Weird...

If you manage to get photos...just e-mail them to me and I'll post them up.
