does it matter where on the winshield you put a radar detector, or is a line of sight type thing. it seems the tibs windshield is really slanted, so i moved the radar detector to as far down as possible to keep it from bumping around, but i dunno if it loses it 360 degree thing with this. it goes off still, just dont know if the perfermance is effected. also i have passed like 10 cops today and the radar went off only once, any ideas?

I keep mine in the lower left corner on the windsheild.

It works perfectly, and the full 360* works just fine.

It also makes it possible to hardwire the cord to the fuse box by the door, and run it down the panel so you never even see the cord smile.gif

Here is a pic of where mine is:

as far as I know - the higher you put radar detector - the better. It should detect better and on higher distance.

Mine is just below the rear view mirror. Works fine. I also have the cord run up behind the mirror and in the roof, then hardwired with my gauges. Looks clean.

Yeah, it works great.

You can position it at different angles and stuff, so there's no problem with getting it to see ahead far.

Remember: cops can only peg your speed when they are within a certain distance, and they have to be within that distance to be certain enough of your speed to give you a ticket, and the distance isnt very much. As long as you pick them up before at a longer range than that, you're good.

Mine picks them up WAY before they get close enough to single me out at the location I have it.

I put mine right over the guages, so you just see it over the wheel, on that hump thing, it works well there and people dont look there to see it there either B)
