I would like to know some name brand seats that would look good in my Rd2. I have looked up a few but what are your opinions on what looks good?

I would worry more about comfort than looks, IMO.

then the following:

material covered in
fixed or movable
FG or CF shell
weight
last but not least, price.

I heard that tenzo seats are nice and not a bad price.

I made the mistake of sitting in some bride seats, i think they were the brias max is what they were called. CF shell, tons of support, weighed 6lbs. a piece but cost 3g's for the set. wtf.gif

I'll post up a grip of diffrent seats I have available. We just got an account with Corbeau, which aren't cheap, but right in the middle I'd say. Plus they're the only company with seat brackets for the RD Tiburons. I carry Megan, Bride, Sparco, Recaro, and on and on, but until I have them loaded to FlyRyde, I dont sell any unless someone specifically asks for it.

You definately need to try out the seats before you buy them. Which is damn near impossible because shops don't have them in stock.
I'm 6'1" and tried sitting in a Sparco Rev, and didn't fit inside it. I'm big, but not a fatty.
I was going to buy the Sparco EVO, but may have to get the EVO II, which is a bigger seat specifically for bigger people.

I'm 6'3" and the TenzoR Rally seats are great for me. If I were 20+ lbs. heavier, they might be uncomfy on the sides because of the big metal bars under the fabric, but those seats hold me right in place. I have a set of Mira Sport seats from Korea in my RD2 and they suck as far as holding me in place. But my partner loves em, cause he's not rail skinny. I think everyone at one point in time should try to make it to a tuner shop where you can try out a grip of seats. That's something I really want to be able to do in my shop, is have at least one seat from a handful of top brands to try out.

i have the Tenzo-R rally's also. very nice seats. i couldnt ask for a more comfortable seat. my friend has a set of some version sparco's in his spec V and he even likes my seats more. the stock seats gave me major back issues on long drives, and thats sad being that i drive delivery trucks all day, but after i put the tenzo's in, really havent had an issue (other then now i get musle cramps from long drives 02.gif )

Well im 6'1 and weight 175
so would the tenzoR seats be good for me? And how do we get brackets for them, if Corbeau is the only one that makes brackets do they fit the tenzo seats? or how do you mount them?

It would probably be a good idea for you guys to state your waist size and possibly shoulder width.
I wear a 34-36 waist pants and the Sparco Revs were way to skinny to fit inside.

I'm rocking Villian Racing seats, I'm 6'2", 225 lbs, 36" waist, broad shoulders. Great fit, snug but not tight. Quality - 5 out of 10. In less than a year, the metal bars in the side have worn away at the foam, and the fabric has stained beyond cleaning, with no spills.
