are you asking how to fix your speedo needle?
1.)start car with needle removed
2.)put needle on so it's facing 0 mph
-make sure you DON'T put the needle on and then turn it to 0mph, you have to put it straight on zero.
3.)drive around see if everything seems right
4.) if you're a perfectionist, have a friend drive beside you and see if it's accurate, or do what I did and find one of those things on the side of the road that tracks your speed and drive by that a few times (see if what your speedo says and the thing says are accurate)...

What gauges did you install? For the most part all of the gauges for us are overlays and you didnt really need to take off the needles. But anyway, Pat is right. Just take off the plexi piece and reinstall everything back together. Then start the car and put the needle back on at 0 mph. Then drive around and make sure it does not stick to the faces at any places.

I took the blue pieces off and drive around for about a month before putting new bulbs back there and my car didnt catch on fire and the gauges didnt melt. I really have no idea what it is for but I dont think it is needed.

Since our dash is so easy to take off I would just take the blue off for now, reinstall, then buy some "Varad Pro" leds for back there and then take everything back apart once you get them in. Currently I have the Varad Pro red leds in the 194 size and all of the 74 size are the SuperBright leds in red. Everything is really bright EXCEPT for the fuel gauge. The needle is not really bright. But I do have reverse indaglow gauges so I am only using the lights to light up the needles. I am not sure how bright it will be with regular gauges.

Nope no resistors. Here is the info.

Varad (194 bulb for behind Speedo and tach)

http://www.cardomain.com/shoplist~b~Varad~...placement+Bulbs

And you definatly want the PRO series. They have one additional LED.

Superbright (74 bulb for behind Temp, Fuel, and ALL warning lamps (blinkers, cel, oil, high beam, etc).)

74 LED bulb
Small Wedge Base LED bulb (74 type)
3/16 inch wide base, 13/16 inch overall length
Flat tipped LED produces wide beam angle
$ 1.19
