Question About Testing Sub
i bought a sub a lonng time ago and i finally decided to put it in my car. i'm planning to get it done next weekend. is there a way where i can see how the sub sounds before that, like hooking it up to computer or home stereo??
nope.
if its any kind of powerful sub you dont have anything in your house that will power it properly.
you can throw the sub in a box and run an amp right off the battery if you are worried about running wires, and run signal cables from inside your car out to the amp.

The acoustics of the Tiburon are different from your buddy's car. Unless he has a tiburon. Speakers sound differently depending on how you set them in your trunk, up, down, backwards... You'd really need to hook them up in your car, otherwise you're just playing with the speaker. But there's nothing wrong with that.
