Question about power doors locks
It was a mild shock when I realized that you cannot unlock the drivers door from the passenger's side. I understand this was intentional but my question is for those cars that have remote door control. Does it only unlock the passenger side? The reason why I ask is that I recently installed an Ugmo security system which can control your doors but how can I have it unlock my Driver's side as well as the Passenger's?

Slip Stream, it's kinda weird but basically what it is is that the drivers door acts like a switch. What you have to do is install an actuator in the drivers door and hook the alarm to it. Then when you hit the button it will unlock both. Kinda retarded but it's true. Honda CRVs have the same issue.

They part shouldn't be very much at all. I get them for like $6. I would guess that if you go somewhere to buy one it would be around $15-20. Most car audio shops will have them in stock for your exact reason. I don't believe that they will come with instructions for the install. If you don't know much about them I can tell you, but it will be a lot easier for you to let a shop do it for you.
