my silver tib has smooth plastic trim pieces on the left door and the right door has more a leather grain look. no biggie really, since i plan to pain them but i thought i might have a replacement door panel. I went and bought dweet's car this weekend and driving home from ohio to kansas I noticed he had the same thing.

are all RD2's like this?

I just felt like a odd duck and then was like WTF when i saw it on the other car.

 

It's the whole "Cockpit" concept. You'll notice from the shifter all the way to the door panel is the same color/material.

 

^^ what he said. The cockpit is different colored.. That's the stuff for the driver only. You'll notice it's all angled towards you.

 

okie doke, thanks for letting me know. I think when i paint my interior on the silver tib and redo the red paint already done on the red tib, I am going to use that texture paint that one guy used on his gauge pods. I don't know why it bugs me so but i prefer either both smooth or both textured.
